I am a midwest country-boy-turned-30-thirty-something husband of one and father of three. I am currently a PhD candidate in planetary science at Case Western Reserve University , with a focus on the history and evolution of the impact basins of the Moon and Mercury.
My friends consider me to be diverse and eclectic with interests ranging from playing jazz trombone, to asian and european martial arts, house construction, auto repair, flying, scuba, photography, and creative writing.
I have had careers in the emergency services industry as a paramedic, firefighter, and 911 dispatcher as well as a somewhat less thrilling tenure in the network IT services department of the University of Michigan.
